2022 Annual Fall Giving Campaign to make charitable donations through homes sold in the Woodlands Hills® and Bridgeland®

THE WOODLANDS, TX – The Howard Hughes Corporation® (NYSE: HHC) is pleased to announce that its Houston-area premier planned communities, The Woodlands Hills® and Bridgeland®, will launch their annual fall fundraiser on July 1. september. For every new home sold in these award-winning communities during the month of September, Howard Hughes will donate on behalf of the buyer to a selected charity of his choice, providing new buyers the opportunity to make a positive impact in the Greater Houston Area, building on last year’s donation of more than $85,000.

This year, the company will donate $500 to one of the following charities on behalf of homebuyers during the fall giving drive: Montgomery County Food Bank, YES to YOUTH and Cy-Fair Educational Foundation. Since its inception, Howard Hughes has been an active philanthropist, contributing and volunteering for more than 180 charitable causes in the Houston area each year through its HHCares corporate social responsibility program, grounded in a commitment to philanthropy. community-oriented, including financial donations, civic engagement and volunteerism.

The Montgomery County Food Bank is on a mission to unite the community to fight hunger, providing more than 9.6 million nutritious meals last year to a network of more than 70 partner boards, local school districts and community partners. They provide solutions to pressing issues such as food waste through their Green Initiative program, which operates a produce rescue center allowing the distribution of fresh fruits and vegetables to partner organizations such as the Houston Food Bank, Feeding Texas and Feeding America.

YES to YOUTH – Montgomery County Youth Services began 42 years ago to assist and strengthen the emotional and mental health development of youth and families who are abused, beaten, sex trafficked, homeless and at risk. Yes to Youth offers several crisis intervention support services, counseling and suicide prevention services to the nearly 3,000 clients they have served, giving youth and families access to safe and nurturing homes where they can begin to heal from the past and become self-sufficient for the future.

The Cy-Fair Educational Foundation (CFEF) provides opportunities for senior Cy-Fair ISD graduates through the provision of postgraduate scholarships and staff development programs. CFEF has been empowering tomorrow’s leaders through higher education since its inception in 1970. Their initiative has since provided over $11 million in scholarships to more than 2,300 Cy-Fair ISD students and $3.6 million to staff development programs.
