Brad Pitt’s Bullet Train release date postponed
“Bullet Train” by famous American actor and producer Brad Pitt has been postponed for 14 days from the actual release date. The postponement of the date was due to internal reasons. Sony Pictures said the action-thriller will be delayed from July 15 to July 29, replacing Dwayne Johnson’s DC film “Black Adam.”
“Where the Crawdads Sing,” a mystery drama from Sony’s 3000 Pictures, got the July 15 release date. The move allows ‘Bullet Train’ to take a break before Disney-‘Thor: MCU’s Love and Thunder’, which hits theaters on July 8. Apart from Moneyball actor Brad, various other actors like Sandra Bullock, Joey King, Bad Bunny, etc. are also present in the next film.
Brad, who is now 58, has been an incredible actor throughout. Brad’s list of accomplishments is second to none as he has won numerous awards. No wonder he’s been dubbed the “sex symbol” in the industry. Therefore, the expectations for his upcoming film are high as usual. The competition would be fierce as Bullet Train will face two other wide openers on the same release date.
‘Bullet Train’ will face two other big premieres in its new July 29 slot: Focus Features’ horror-thriller ‘Vengeance’ and Paramount’s animated action-comedy ‘Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank ‘, which will both be released on July 22. Pitt is an experienced assassin whose first day back on the job doesn’t go as planned when he finds himself among many other professional murderers on the same train with a similar mission.
The film’s story is based on a bestselling book written by author Kotaro Isaka. The book is a Japanese novel named Maria Beetle. Pitt plays Ladybug, an assassin who boards a high-speed train and encounters many other assassins, including Prince played by Joey King, Tangerine played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Lemon played by Brian Tyree Henry, and Hornet by Brian Tyree Henry.
Kimura, played by Andrew Koji, is also on the train, a parent seeking revenge after Prince left his son unconscious. The assassins immediately discover that their many targets are all linked and their missions quickly spiral out of control. Additionally, Leitch and Kelly McCormick, along with Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick, produce Bullet Train under their company 87North.
Kotaro’s Ryosuke Saegusa and Yuma are executive producers, with Sony Pictures’ Brittany Morrissey overseeing the project. The summary states: “An original cinematic event, the film is a joyful and crazy action thriller. “Set against the backdrop of a nonstop journey through modern Japan, Brad Pitt leads a colorful and diverse cast of assassins – all with related but opposing agendas.” Bullet Train is one of Brad Pitt’s most anticipated films. The quality of the film’s casting has already put it in the spotlight.
