GRINNELL COLLEGE – GERMAN STUDIES – Tenure-track position (early fall 2023).

GRINNELL COLLEGE. The Department of GERMAN STUDIES invites applications for a tenure-track appointment beginning in Fall 2023. Assistant Professor (Ph.D.) preferred; Instructor (ABD) or associate professor possible. Teaching interests should include all levels of German language teaching, as well as German studies courses taught in German and English. Research may include, but is not limited to, the following areas of the German-speaking world: Jewish Studies (possibly including Yiddish language and culture), Turkish Studies, Black Studies, Gender, Women and sexuality, studies on transnationality or migration. Near-native command of German required.
