Princeton University School of Architecture is calling for applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position in the field of architectural history and theory. Applicants must demonstrate their qualifications to teach and counsel undergraduate (AB) and graduate (M.Arch. And Ph.D.) students, as well as their scientific contributions and reputation in the field, with a strong track record of publications. In particular, applicants must demonstrate an ability to act as a doctoral advisor. students working on subjects related to their field of study. The successful candidate will hold a doctorate. A teaching record of lectures and seminars in the history and theory of architecture is required. The successful candidate is also expected to actively participate in the design program through design examinations, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, beyond their normal course offerings. Princeton is particularly interested in applicants who, through their research, teaching and service, will contribute to the diversity and excellence of the university community.
