Rutgers Business School Assistant Professor position in Finance and Economics with Rutgers University-Newark
The Department of Finance and Economics at Rutgers Business School in Newark and New Brunswick, Rutgers University, is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, subject to the availability of funding. Applicants must have a doctorate. in finance or economics, must have a history of publishing in leading financial and economic journals or extensive evidence of ability to publish in such journals and have demonstrated effective teaching at the university level. Strong preference will be given to applicants with academic activities and teaching in at least one of the following areas: credit risk, fixed income, real estate, fintech, entrepreneurial finance and venture capital (small business finance).
The Department of Finance and Economics has 45 full-time professors. Rutgers Business School offers BS, MBA, Masters in Quantitative Finance, Masters in Financial Analysis, and PhD. programs that include concentrations in finance and applied economics. The department is home to the Whitcomb Center for Research in Financial Services and the Center for Real Estate.
