Scots and Scots have ‘a 15 hour time difference in libido’

Scottish women desire to have sex right before falling asleep, while men feel more frisky in the morning, according to a new survey.

New data suggests sex is one of the first things a man thinks about immediately after waking up – and their optimum time is 7:30 a.m.

The rush hour for female passion is 10 p.m. as they prepare to go to bed.

The almost 15-hour difference between the best times for sex can create tension between partners – with 64% of women and 38% of men saying they sometimes do it when they don’t feel like it.

The results are revealed in a survey of 2,000 people, split equally between sexes, by IllicitEncounters.com, Scotland’s leading business site.

The results also revealed that more than half of women and men said their libido is different from their partner’s – 53% of women and 51% of men admit that their sex drive differs from their other halves.

One of the main differences was the time frame in which women wanted to be passionate compared to men.

Almost a third of men felt the most dashing between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., while only about 12% of women felt the same at these times.

On the other hand, women’s desire levels increase throughout the day and peak between 9 p.m. and midnight.

The survey also suggested that men’s libido was more constant than that of women, with 74% of men saying their libido was fairly constant. Only 37 percent of the women agreed.

Jessica Leoni, sex and relationship expert at IllicitEncounters.com, said: “This new research shows that there are big differences in sex hours between the sexes in Scotland.

“Men are ready for sex before breakfast, while women mostly want passion last time at night.

“It creates big problems for some couples who lose the habit of having sex regularly and move away from each other.

“Uneven libido is the most important factor for unhappy spouses who start an affair.

“There’s an attitude, ‘Well, if I can’t have sex at home, I’ll find it somewhere else.’ “
